The Little by Little Program addresses the challenges of school readiness for children in low-income families by providing parental guidance and education about the importance of promoting early childhood literacy at home and by distributing high-quality, new books to children ages 0 to 5. During a family’s visit to the WIC center to receive their regular nutrition education and support, the family is also enrolled into the Little by Little Program.
Just think of the difference a small investment can have on the long-term future of tens of thousands of children benefiting from the Little by Little Program.
A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH CHAIR

"My mother and I benefited from WIC and I am grateful that this service was available. I am thrilled that WIC has now incorporated the Little by Little Program to some of its sites. Without a doubt, the Little by Little Program is uniquely positioned to reach a broad, under-served population and effect real change by fostering home literacy. I invite you to help us raise the next generation of productive citizens and community leaders."
